What we accept?
At Maximalist Magazine, we don’t have pre-determined themes, so feel free to submit any type of visual or literary media. Feel free to experiment with format, mediums, languages, etc., as long as it works in print. Note that only UCSD students can submit.

When will I know if my submission’s been accepted?
The reading period ends at the end of Week 8 during Fall Quarter. We will notify you directly if your submission is selected for our online issue. All accepted submissions will be posted under the issues tab.

We’re looking for work that is both conceptual and transformative. Think about your audience. What and how you communicate is important, but moreso, how you subvert their expectations.
